Guus Diepstraten was the fastest rider in the peloton when Riyadh 11:20 was coming to an end. Guus Diepstraten speeded up and managed to get several meters ahead of the competitors in the ordinary sprint. Behind him was Jeaderphy Lengela, Anonymous Cycling Project, struggling with Joshua Popovich from Berritxaco. Joshua Popovich saw his competitor get across the finishing line only a few miliseconds before himself, while both of them could only watch while Guus Diepstraten raised his hands for the victory.
My legs felt good today, so when the end was near, I gave it everything I had, said Guus Diepstraten after winning Riyadh 11:20. My team supported me well, they helped me sitting in the perfect position for a sprint.
De Schiffies's manager, kschiffmacher, was satisfied after the result in Riyadh 11:20. Guus Diepstraten did very well today. Everything turned out as we planned it, and Guus Diepstraten had the power to win, said the manager.
